The latest news from the digital world paints a stark picture: no organisation – be it a telecoms giant, a major retailer or a government body – is immune to cybercrime. With the figures for 2025 confirming an increase in attacks, the question is no longer whether a breach will occur, but who will be able to thwart it.
2025: A year marked by a sense of urgency
As recent reviews have highlighted, France has been hit by a wave of cyber-attacks on an unprecedented scale. Organisations handling millions of pieces of personal data, such as France Travail and Leroy Merlin, have had their databases compromised. More recently, the telecoms operator Free was hit with a hefty administrative fine, serving as a reminder that a failure to ensure security now comes at a very high cost to businesses, both financially and in terms of reputation.
3iL Engineers: Recognised and accredited expertise
Faced with this systemic challenge, 3iL Ingénieurs has chosen to play a leading role in training the cyber defences of tomorrow. This commitment to excellence is now recognised by the SecNumEdu accreditation, awarded by ANSSI (the French National Cybersecurity Agency). This accreditation certifies that our training programme meets the most stringent criteria for cybersecurity education.
Our teaching covers the entire spectrum of defence and attack:
- Audits and penetration testing (pentesting).
- Security of architectures, networks and the IoT.
- Cryptography and data protection.
- Crisis management and legal compliance (GDPR).
An active and connected ecosystem
At 3iL, cybersecurity isn’t just learnt from books – it’s experienced first-hand. The school positions itself as an essential hub for industry experts, as demonstrated by the success of our cybersecurity-themed Afterwork, which brought together experts in the field. These opportunities for discussion enable our students and partners to analyse current threats in real time.
