Degrees, Accreditations, and Certifications
Recognition that isn’t based just on words
Choosing a school also means wanting reassurance about the value of the degree you’ll earn upon graduation. This is a legitimate expectation, and 3iL Ingénieurs meets it with verifiable facts: every certification and accreditation listed on this page is issued by an independent organization, which has its own evaluation criteria and conducts its own regular audits. It is these organizations that guarantee the value of the degree, not the institution itself.
All of our programs are state-accredited and recognized for their quality and alignment with market needs. Based on objective criteria such as work-study programs, international outreach, and student engagement, 3iL Ingénieurs ranks among the top schools in its field.
State Accreditations and Recognitions
3iL Ingénieurs is a higher education institution recognized by the French government, which oversees and evaluates all of our accreditations.
The CTI evaluates engineering programs in France and abroad. Without its accreditation, an institution cannot award the title of engineer. The 3iL Ingénieurs program received the maximum 5-year certification in 2022.
The EESPIG (Private Higher Education Institution of General Interest) designation is granted by the government following a recommendation from the Advisory Committee on Private Higher Education. 3iL Ingénieurs has held EESPIG status since 2019, which requires it to operate on a nonprofit basis: no dividends are paid to investors. In this context, the school undergoes periodic evaluation by Hcéres (High Council for the Evaluation of Research and Higher Education).
France Compétences decides whether to include a training program in the National Registry of Professional Certifications (RNCP), which serves as proof of its recognition by the government and its alignment with the needs of businesses. All 3iL Ingénieurs training programs are certified by France Compétences and listed in the RNCP.
The cybersecurity engineering program for full-time students has been awarded the SecNumedu certification by ANSSI (the National Agency for the Security of Information Systems), which recognizes the quality of this specialization in light of national cybersecurity needs.
The CTI is a founding member of the ENAEE (European Network for Accreditation of Engineering Education), which created the EUR-ACE® certification. This label facilitates international academic equivalencies and can simplify the process of practicing as an engineer in countries where the profession is regulated.

ISO 9001 Certification
The 3iL Group has been ISO 9001 certified since 2008 for all of its activities related to the development and delivery of degree programs. This standard certifies a rigorous quality management approach, with continuous improvement of our processes.
Qualiopi certification
Qualiopi certifies the quality of a training organization’s services for training programs, apprenticeships, and the validation of prior learning (VAE). It is based on the National Quality Framework and covers all of the school’s training programs.

3iL Ingénieurs draws on major professional networks that are leaders in engineering education, a recognition that adds value to your degree in the eyes of employers.
The CGE (Conference of Grandes Écoles)
A think tank that highlights the role of the “Grandes Écoles” in the national higher education system and publishes annual benchmark studies on career placement and teaching methods.
The UGEI (Union of Independent Grandes Écoles)
A network of engineering and management schools located throughout France, of which 3iL Ingénieurs has been a member since January 2018.
The CDEFI (Conference of Directors of French Engineering Schools)
The CDEFI (Conference of Directors of French Engineering Schools)
Founded in 1976, the CDEFI brings together the directors of institutions accredited by the CTI. Dominique Baillargeat, director of 3iL Ingénieurs, acts as its vice president, which allows the school to contribute directly to national discussions on the future of engineering education.
L’ITII Midi-Pyrénées
The Midi-Pyrénées Institute of Industrial Engineering Techniques is the long-standing partner of our Rodez campus for the engineering degree program through an apprenticeship, in collaboration with the Aveyron Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
