What if your degree were just the beginning of the story?
You may be wondering what becomes of students once they graduate from 3iL Ingénieurs. The answer can be summed up in one word: everywhere. Technical management, cybersecurity, strategic marketing, law enforcement, entrepreneurship… The 3iL alumni network encompasses hundreds of different career paths, all starting from the same place: a small, intimate school in Limoges, Rodez, or Nantes.
They attended 3iL – Here’s where they are nowt
Yannick Puget (class of 2002–2005) began his career as an apprentice at Inforsud FM, before leading infrastructure projects for Airbus and the Caisses d’Épargne, and then joining La Banque Postale. He is currently Director of Production, Services, and Innovation at iMSA in Toulouse.
Sophie Sellier-Coudeyre (class of 1995) worked at IBM, Capgemini, and Atos before becoming an agency director at Sopra Steria in Clermont-Ferrand, where she also champions gender equality in the digital sector.
Michael Rolland (class of 1999) began his career at Devoteam as an information systems consultant before becoming Group Chief Marketing Officer of the same company, following stints at Bull, Atos, and Econocom.
Laura Serre (Class of 2019) completed her apprenticeship at Proximit, specialized in cybersecurity during a stay in Canada, and now works as a Network and Security Engineer at the same company.
Sara Bécard (Class of 2000) switched from an IT services company to the Army as a specialist officer before becoming a civil servant with the Gendarmerie, where she now leads a participatory innovation initiative.
Gino Darius Medie Defo (Class of 2017), a student-entrepreneur who won a PEPITE award during his studies, rose through the ranks at Capgemini to become a Solution Architect, then a Senior Software Engineer and Technical Lead at Innovela.
Daniel Arnalis (Class of 2017) launched his company while still a student, before joining Red Bull France as a marketing manager and later as Consumer Collecting Manager.
Louis Moreau (Class of 2018) co-founded Icohup, where he currently serves as Deputy CEO for Technology and Information Systems, while pursuing a Ph.D.
What comes up in almost all the testimonials
No matter the year or the campus, one common thread stands out: the atmosphere, the school’s intimate size, and the approachable faculty. Many also have vivid memories of student life: orientation weekends, the Global Game Jam, and managing the student lounge. What you take away from 3iL isn’t just technical training – it’s also a human experience.
