You may already be wondering about this, without knowing whether it’s a realistic option for you: what if you could go further, explore another field or another academic culture, without having to leave your engineering degree program? That is exactly what a dual degree enables you to do.
An opportunity to enrich your career
In practical terms, a dual degree allows you to combine:
- your 3iL engineering degree (Master’s level, equivalent to five years of higher education)
- and a second university degree obtained in France or abroad
If you feel like it, this could enable you to explore an area that interests you in greater depth, or to discover a different learning environment.

You don’t need to decide right now. These opportunities develop gradually as you progress through your studies at 3iL Ingénieurs.
Some dual degree programs are available as part of the full-time engineering degree programme or the work-study program, depending on your background and the partnerships available. Passing the exams at the partner institution enables you to be awarded the 3iL qualification by equivalence, whilst also obtaining the qualification from the partner university. A challenging program, but one designed to be accessible at your own pace.
