Studying abroad in Europe (and beyond) without losing a year
You may be wondering if studying abroad during your degree program will set you back or complicate the recognition of your credits. The Erasmus+ program exists precisely to prevent that: it allows you to spend a semester studying at a 3iL partner institution, regardless of your nationality, without delaying your degree.
Thanks to the Europe-wide harmonization of ECTS credits, the courses you complete at the partner institution simultaneously count toward your semester at 3iL. In practical terms: you go abroad, study elsewhere, and your academic progress continues as usual.
WHAT YOU WILL GAIN IN PRATICAL TERMS
This program is particularly well-suited if you want to have your first international experience during your studies, discover a different student culture, and choose courses that complement your original program of study.
This program also allows you to:
- apply for an Erasmus+ grant to help fund part of your stay;
- be exempt from tuition fees at the partner university during your exchange.
Our Erasmus+ Documents, in Full Transparency
In accordance with the requirements of the Erasmus+ Agency, we are providing you with:
- Our Erasmus Charter, which commits 3iL Ingénieurs to the program’s principles of quality and mutual recognition.
- Our Erasmus Strategy Statement, which outlines our internationalization policy.
Our credit equivalence system is based on the ECTS harmonization system: each module successfully completed at our partner institution corresponds to a number of credits recognized by 3iL, ensuring that your semester abroad truly counts toward your degree.
