The 3iL business partners’ club
What if your future employer was already part of everyday life at school?
You may be wondering what it actually means for you when a school has “a network of corporate partners”. Are they just logos on a brochure, or does it really make a difference to your studies and your chances of finding an internship, a work-study programme or your first job?
At 3iL Ingénieurs, this network is very real and active: every year, numerous partner companies offer concrete opportunities, and some go a step further by getting directly involved in the life of the school.
A network that recruits, it’s not only talks
3iL Ingénieurs works with a wide network of companies, some of which have the status of key partners. These partnerships are not one-way: they enable companies to develop their relationships with the school, but they also open up concrete opportunities for you in the form of work placements, work-study schemes or jobs.
Commitments that go beyond recruitment
Donating professional equipment, with RRTHV
RRTHV (Régie Régionale des Transports de la Haute-Vienne) has donated professional IT equipment (servers, switches, Wi-Fi access points) to 3iL Ingénieurs, as part of a digital sustainability initiative. This equipment is used directly by students for their practical work on systems, networks, infrastructure and security, whilst generating significant savings for the school.
A collaborative working group, with Okantis
Okantis is actively contributing, alongside 3iL Ingénieurs, Limoges University Hospital, the Limoges and Haute-Vienne Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and ADI Nouvelle-Aquitaine, to a working group dedicated to the security, use and ethics of health data. This collaboration enables the school to stay in touch with the real-world challenges in the field relating to these issues.
What does this network actually mean for you?
This extensive network of partners enables you to gain a realistic insight into the world of work, well before you take up your first job. In practical terms, this means:
- internship and work-study opportunities, which are offered each year;
- meetings with professionals at dedicated events (work-study forums, company open days);
- specific equipment or projects that directly contribute to your practical work;
- strong employability upon completion of your course, thanks to this ongoing connection with the world of work.
FAQ
FAQ – Your questions, our answers
The Business Relations Department at 3iL Ingénieurs is responsible for matching opportunities from partner companies with candidates seeking work-study programs, internships or employment, depending on your specialism.
The majority do, but the level of commitment varies: some limit themselves to one-off internship or job offers, whilst others make a more long-term commitment (donating equipment, setting up a working group, establishing a teaching chair).
A partner company offers opportunities for work placements, work-study schemes or employment. A sponsoring company goes a step further: it supports an entire year group throughout their course, with support that may extend as far as recruitment.
Yes, even though some companies have stronger local roots (such as RRTHV and Okantis in Haute-Vienne, for example), the entire network benefits students across the various 3iL Ingénieurs campuses.
Some partnerships result directly in equipment being used in the classroom (such as IT equipment donated by RRTHV) or in working groups that contribute to the school’s thinking on real-world issues facing the sector.
