Business at the Heart of Training
What if your future employers were already part of your journey?
You may be wondering whether an engineering school program will truly prepare you for what companies expect, or whether you’ll only discover the professional world on the first day of your internship. At 3iL Ingénieurs, companies aren’t some distant prospect that comes into view only at the end of your studies—they’re an integral part of your education from the very beginning.
Their involvement with us ensures that what you learn aligns with the real needs of the job market and guarantees you maximum employability upon graduation. In practice, this takes several very concrete forms throughout your program.
Your graduating class has its own sponsoring company
Each class at 3iL is sponsored by a leading company in the field of digital technology. This isn’t just a symbolic partnership—it’s a real highlight of your academic program.
In practical terms, this sponsorship allows you to benefit from advice and support that can extend all the way to job placement. The sponsoring company follows your class throughout your academic journey, giving you the opportunity to build connections long before you start looking for an internship or work-study program—and sometimes to open doors you wouldn’t have found on your own.
A team entirely dedicated to helping you build your business
The Corporate Relations Office plays a central role as a bridge between the school and the professional world. It supports both partner companies and you throughout your academic journey: helping you find internships and work-study programs, connecting you with recruiters, and following up on your applications.
You can rely on this team depending on your campus :
- Limoges : Raja Chiky, Director of Corporate Relations, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship.
- Rodez : Paul Pitiot, Campus Director / Director of Academic Affairs.
- Nantes : Mélina Simon.
Jean-Paul Borie, Coordinator of School-Business Relations, and Aurélie Le Galloudec, Manager of Business and Alumni Initiatives, round out this school-wide team.
Companies that hire, not just those that advertise
All of our training programs in digital careers are offered as work-study programs. In practical terms, this means that companies are actively seeking candidates like you, not just on an ad hoc basis.
Our Corporate Relations Department is responsible for matching opportunities from partner companies with candidates seeking work-study programs, internships, or full-time employment. So you’re not on your own in your job search: a dedicated team actively facilitates these connections.
Real-world projects, not just theoretical exercises
Some of your student projects are carried out directly for companies, under the coordination of Romain Marie and Benjamin Chervy, who oversee these technology-based projects designed for educational purposes. So you don’t just work on textbook examples: you sometimes tackle real-world challenges faced by partner companies, with all the constraints and stakes that entails.
A network of partners that goes beyond a simple internship
Every year, many partner companies offer work-study and internship opportunities to our students. Some go even further by actively engaging with the school: sponsoring a graduating class or establishing a specialized chair in their name. This network of partners, built over time, is also a resource for you throughout your academic journey and long after you graduate.
