However, given that teachers often have limited time to devote to students, addressing these challenges is a challenge in itself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Extensive research on artificial intelligence (AI) in mathematics education (AIME) suggests that the use of AI systems could have a significant impact on teachers. Therefore, the central question is how to meaningfully integrate these AI systems to enable teachers to benefit from their effects and help them overcome these challenges. The COVID-19 pandemic has highlighted the need for specific care interventions for these children and their families. As part of these children\u2019s rehabilitation, it is necessary to offer cognitive-motor or spatial navigation rehabilitation programs that incorporate various sensory stimuli (visual, auditory). In this context, new technologies appear to be a relevant solution for providing playful and personalized rehabilitation, with the possibility of conducting remote self-rehabilitation. Virtual reality is commonly used in pediatric rehabilitation, whereas augmented reality is a very recent and promising technology. Before studying the effectiveness of a new augmented reality-based program, it is essential to evaluate the usability, user experience, acceptance, and potential benefits of this type of device in cognitive-motor rehabilitation for this population.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We have developed an exergame using an augmented reality headset that will ultimately offer a new form of rehabilitation; one that is both fun and interactive for children and adolescents with cerebral palsy (CP) or motor learning disorders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This project is based on three operational objectives:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"wp-block-list-item\">The first one is to design and develop an augmented reality device.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"wp-block-list-item\">The second objective is to evaluate the device\u2019s usability, user experience, acceptance, and motivation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"wp-block-list-item\">The third one is to study the feasibility of deploying the device in patients\u2019 homes for use by patients and their families.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><figure class=\"wp-block-media-text__media\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"267\" height=\"267\" src=\"https:\/\/www.3il-ingenieurs.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/these-terapace.jpg\" alt=\"these terapace\" class=\"wp-image-17554 size-full\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.3il-ingenieurs.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/these-terapace.jpg 267w, https:\/\/www.3il-ingenieurs.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/these-terapace-150x150.jpg 150w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 267px) 100vw, 267px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group alignfull has-global-padding is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\" style=\"padding-top:0;padding-bottom:0\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text has-media-on-the-right is-stacked-on-mobile is-vertically-aligned-center is-style-shifted alignmedium is-media-first-on-mobile is-style-shifted--9\"><div class=\"wp-block-media-text__content\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-group has-white-background-color has-background alignfull has-global-padding is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\" style=\"padding-top:var(--wp--preset--spacing--small);padding-bottom:var(--wp--preset--spacing--small)\">\n<h2 id=\"gabriel-valenti-2022-2025\" class=\"wp-block-heading is-style-h2 alignmedium is-style-h2--10\">Gabriel Valenti (2022-2025)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Development of a Radar Signal Processing Platform for High-Resolution Detection<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In this work, we focus on the surveillance and tracking of space objects in low Earth orbit. Monitoring space debris is now a priority for space agencies, given the serious threat these objects pose to satellites and space missions. Detecting targets and determining their parameters with high precision in a noisy environment (unwanted echoes, radar clutter, interference, etc.) remains challenging. The development of signal processing algorithms combined with artificial intelligence techniques offers a solution to these limitations. In this thesis, we propose to explore the contribution of machine learning and deep learning techniques to the challenges of radar signal processing and analysis for high-resolution detection: parameter estimation and target tracking. The major challenge in developing artificial intelligence techniques for radar is the availability of training data. The goal of multimodal fusion is to obtain a unified representation based on the robots\u2019 various sensors, while also leveraging their complementary nature. It is important to note that, as with any observation system, there will be inconsistencies\u2014spatial, temporal, and those due to noise inherent to the sensors. With this unified representation, the heterogeneous robot system will be able to self-organize to accomplish missions.
